Role Models story

Role Models is a 2008 American comedy film about two irresponsible salesmen, played by Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott, who is part of a Big Brothers-type mentorship program for community service. The main characters, Danny (Rudd) and Wheeler (Scott) are part of an energy drink company, and after a series of misadventures, their reckless behavior (fueled by their problems) lands them in legal trouble. They are given a choice of either going to jail or serving 150 hours of community service as mentors in the Sturdy Wings program.

As part of the program, Danny and Wheeler are assigned to mentor a disturbed adolescent boy, Augie (Christopher Mintz-Plass), and a mischievous young boy, Ronnie (Bobb’e J. Thompson). At first, they struggle with the boys’ difficult personalities and the program’s stringent rules.
