Kingdom Of Heaven Stoy
The Kingdom of Heaven is a historical drama about the Crusades, which was a religious conflict between Christians and Muslims during the 12th century in what is now the Holy Land. The story follows the journey of the blacksmith, Balian, played by Orlando Bloom, as he tries to reconcile his duties as a knight with the need for peace in a country torn by war and religious hatred. The story begins in France where Balian, who has lost his wife and child, searches for redemption.
He meets his long-lost father, Liam Neeson’s Baron Godfrey, played by Robert Carlyle, who invites Balian to Jerusalem and provides him with a chance to regain his honor. In Jerusalem, Balian finds himself caught in the crossfire between the Christian crusaders, led by Edward Norton’s King Baldwin IV, and the Muslim armies led by the great general Saladin (Ghassan Massoud). As Balian works his way to the heart of the conflict, he gains the trust and confidence of both Christian and Muslim communities and helps broker a delicate peace between the warring parties.
